How do you get your financial needs met with God? Do you just keep on telling God what you need until you get it? Do you really know what you need?

Did you know that God won’t give you something just because you need it?  He will only give it to you based upon his spiritual laws that he has already set in motion. You may be wondering, “what particular law are you talking about here?  God has a lot of laws.” I’m glad you wondered. In Mt. 22:36-40, you will see that one of the Pharisees asked Jesus which was the greatest commandment in the law. “Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord, thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, This is the first and great commandment, And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, On these two commandments hang all the Law and the prophets” (or profits, as we could say in my version here).

Let’s think about that last verse (40) again, “On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets”. This means 1) The law of prosperity, 2) The law of healing, 3) the law of peace, and we could go on. Name any law of God, and its fulfillment in your life will hang or depend upon the law of love; loving God with all your heart and soul and mind and your neighbor as yourself.

So, if you want the windows of heaven to open and God’s blessing poured out upon you when you tithe, as promised in Mal. 3:10 or the 100-fold return “now and in this time“, as promised in Mark 10:29,30, you will have to fulfill this law of love.

Just as a gut check, have you calculated how much the devil has stolen from you and how much you have given in offerings over and above the tithe?  I have. Have you written them down and demanded the devil return to you 7 times over what he has stolen?  You have a legal right to do this according to Proverbs 6:30,31 - "Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house."  Have you dispatched the holy Angels to go after the devil and take it away from him?  I have.  Are you expecting a 100-fold return on all your offerings and dispatched the Angels to bring that money in as well?   In case you haven’t, don't delay because it legally belongs to you.  God knows you will use it for his purposes rather than allowing the devil's crowd to hoard it for his purposes.

Are you aware that the word, “Return”, is also a financial term?  See Mal. 3:7, “Return” unto me and I will “Return” unto you, saith the Lord of hosts (armies).

If you aren’t diligent to do all these things you can't expect a full Return on your investment in the Kingdom of God?  God expects you to be a good steward of his money as any good "investment banker" would.
